Samuel Chung was chosen to perform with the Herbie Hancock Institute’s National Peer-to-Peer Sextet


Samuel Chung (IM, ‘25) who plays the tenor saxophone, was chosen to perform with the Herbie Hancock Institute’s National Peer-to-Peer Sextet. The sextet is composed of six of the most gifted high school musicians around the country. They had the honor of performing at the Herbie Hancock International Piano Competition in New York City alongside former winner of the Institute’s International Jazz Vocal Competition Lisa Henry and renowned jazz educator JB Dyas.
