Use best judgment, if bell fails

Intruder

PA Announcement: "Attention Students and Staff. There is an intruder. This is not a drill. The campus will go on Lock Down.”

Lock down all rooms and keep students away from doors and windows - employ run, hide, fight training.

Local Police Activity

PA announcement:  “Attention Students and Staff. Due to [insert situation], please lock classroom doors (proceed to the nearest classroom & lock doors) until further notice. Do not leave campus.”

Lock doors and stay inside. Wait for an update

Loss of Power

Lights shut

Phones / electrical equipment do not work

Elevators do not work

Remain in classroom for further instructions
Classroom Incident (student injury, physical confrontation, etc.) Various actions will indicate a classroom emergency in progress

DO NOT CALL 911

Move students away from the emergency

Symphony Hall Through the nearest exit onto 10th Street
Basement Classrooms Up through the stairwell to the Container Lot
All 1st Floor Rooms Out of the North West exit into the Container Lot
All 2nd Floor Rooms Down the stairwell in the Cafeteria
Tower Rooms ending in 00 - 04 Stairs next to the elevator
Tower Rooms ending in 05 - 07 Stairs into the Container Lot
All Annex Rooms Through the Annex exits into the Container Lot
